Roof damage after wind, falling debris or a storm? Call (406) 221-8585. Explore safe observations, assessment and repair planning for your Flathead Valley property.
Start with the damage you can safely describe
Storm damage can involve displaced roofing, affected flashing, a tree impact or water entering the building. Tell us what changed, when you noticed it and whether water is still entering. Do not climb onto the roof or enter a visibly damaged area to gather information.
If there is immediate danger, move away from the affected area and contact emergency services. For roofing requests, our phone is answered 24/7. Call first for active water entry and ask for the current on-site response window.
Assess the assembly before deciding the repair
The repair scope should follow the damage and surrounding roof condition. A visible surface issue does not establish the condition of underlying components or the source of every interior symptom. Ask which areas can be assessed and which conditions remain concealed.
Temporary protection may be appropriate before permanent work, depending on the roof, damage and safe access. Clarify what the immediate action is intended to accomplish and what follow-up will be needed. A temporary measure should not be presented as a complete permanent repair.
Keep observations and insurance documentation organized
Record the date, affected rooms and changes over time. Keep safely taken photographs, written scopes and invoices together. Contact your insurer for policy questions and documentation requirements; the insurer determines coverage and claim handling.
Our insurance documentation guide helps organize the conversation without promising coverage, claim approval or a deductible outcome. If a tree, utility or another building component is involved, ask what work needs to be coordinated before the roof scope is finalized.
Use property details to move the conversation forward
The roof estimator can identify your address and supply available roof measurements and project information. It is useful alongside a call, but it does not diagnose storm damage or price emergency repair from symptoms.
We serve Kalispell, Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Bigfork, Creston, Evergreen, Somers and Lakeside from our Kalispell base. Tell us the exact location and any restrictions affecting safe access or deliveries.

Frequently asked questions
Can you tell whether damage came from a storm from an aerial measurement?
No. Measurements provide property context; they do not establish cause, coverage or a repair scope. Describe the timing and observations, and discuss an appropriate assessment.
Will storm damage always require replacement?
No. The decision depends on the affected components, extent of damage, repairability and overall condition. A site-specific assessment should support the recommendation.
